A B O U T  M E

Hi! My name is Mrs. Kay.  I have been a certified teacher for over 15 years.  My experience includes teaching math and reading to all grades from Kindergarten through 8th grade. I specialize in working with struggling learners and English Language Learners.  All children have the ability to learn and I enjoy helping them reach their goals.  I am also a mother of 3 children ages 9, 11 and 16 years old. In our free time, we enjoy reading, swimming, riding bikes and watching movies.

  • Bachelor of Arts in Sociology-University of IL at Urbana-Champaign

  • Professional Educator  License (PEL)-Quincy University

  • Master of Science in Education- Quincy University

  • Special Education Endorsement (LBS1)- Quincy University

  • English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement- Dominican University
